FINALLY! Employment

Just a quick post, but I finally got a job.

Thanks to my long lost buddy who put my resume on top of the pile of resumes on his boss's desk, his recommendation ... and my incredible telephone interview ... I received a job offer last week. So, I'm officially a software salesman. I may or may not mention the company in my blog ... haven't decided yet.

I officially start work this Monday. The drive is going to be a pain in the butt, as I now have to drive across the bottom of the GTA all the way to the Ontario Science Center's neighbourhood. With the traffic on the QEW/Gardiner/DVP at that time of the morning, I'm going to have to leave a little earlier ... say 0616 - 0630 ... to not have to spend an hour in the traffic.

Mind you, it beats having to drive 105 kms (1 hour) home and back with my previous job.
