Gross.
It's amazing how attached you can become of the most inane thing ... okay, well maybe it was the fact I didn't want to get a local anesthetic again. I had a number of skin tags removed in 1991 under and around my arm pits and the freezing was an incredibly painful experience.
Memories resurfaced once again. However, this was going to be one small injection instead of over 15 like my last adventure.
The freezing, once more, felt like liquid fire. It's not quite the same as the visit to a dentist - it seems to be more intense. And as quickly as it all began, my little buddy was gone. I didn't even get to say good-bye properly! My Doctor proceeded to cauterize the reminants to ataunch the bleeding.
Procedure over - RIP Verne. I'll miss you.
What made me laugh after the bandaid was placed over Verne's last resting place was my Doctor wanting to use the cauterizing machine to attack other skin tags, proclaiming, "This is fun!". Needless to say my immediately response was, "Are you kidding me!?".
I'd only psyched myself up for Verne ... not his children!
