It's been a daily routine these past few weeks that are threatening to put me into a deep coma of boredom.
There's little variety at the moment in my daily routine that sometimes the most inane thing can bring some excitement. Just the other day, I was visiting Torrent Spy and thought I'd find a TV show that I've never watched and download episodes to see if the show was worthing "catching up on" for the upcoming TV season.
I immediately saw Grey's Anatomy as I scanned the various listings. I remember one of my sisters saying she watched it faithfully. We have very similar views on life, taste in books and movies, etc., so I thought I'd give it a shot. My wife had mentioned at one point in the second season last year that we should have been watching this show - apparently there's quite the buzz surrounding it.
So, I downloaded the entire first season and burned them to DVD -Rs. We settled down on Friday to watch the first couple of episodes - I had burned the first four - with a pop and some chips.
DAMN !!!!!!!
If it didn't turn out to be one of the most entertaining shows we've ever seen. I mean it ranks right up there with our love of: Lost, Boston Legal, and Desperate Housewives. (In creating the links to these shows, I just realized that they are all ABC shows ... In the meantime, I wait for the second season to download, as yesterday we completed a marathon and watched Season 1 episodes 5 through 9. (There were only 9 shows made in the first year of production.
So, despite being thoroughly entertained and thrilled at having found a great TV show to watch this fall, we have no life. LOL.

I fully blame the fact that we don't know where we're going to end up. The UN in Geneva could come through, working for the Federal Gov't in Ottawa, or some company around here (or elsewhere in Canada) might want me.
But, until that time, we're caught in a daily rut.
*Yawn*
